Artes de la Rosa, formerly Latin Arts Association of Fort Worth is the non-profit organization that manages the historic gem of Fort Worth 's Northside – The Rose Marine Theater, Galería de la Rosa, and Fort Worth's only Hispanic theater company - Teatro de la Rosa. Artes de la Rosa obtained its non-profit status from the IRS in November, 1999, and though still a young organization, has quickly managed to become an award-winning organization receiving praise for its children's programming and critical acclaim for its productions. Artes de la Rosa is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and interpreting the art, culture, lives, and history of the Latino community by: (1) establishing a venue for Latino art and cultural performances; (2) offering educational art/culture programs to the community including at-risk youth in low-income neighborhoods; (3) providing opportunities and support for established and emerging artists and performers; and (4) serving as the central support organization and resource center for Latino art and culture in the City of Fort Worth.

Introspections

Sin TituloOn exhibit January 23 though March 20, 2009

The work of Jose Calvillo centers on neo-surrealistic images in the hopes that they will cause the viewer to reflect on the condition of their own faith and view of God and their relationship with Him. The work of Jeffrey Nichols is a collection of images of different native peoples from around the world. Jeff is an avid traveler and you can expect to see images from Vietnam, Thailand, Haiti, and the Caribbean.
